Our O.T’s offer handwriting assessments for all ages  including speed for older children requiring reports prior to taking GCSE’s and A’ Levels.

Our sports injury clinic is open 8.30-6.30 Monday to Saturday (we do screen calls on a Sunday in case anyone wishes to book in urgently on Monday)

Hydrotherapy

The Hydrotherapy Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (HACP) definition of hydrotherapy is:

Children Hydrotherapy at Bournemouth"A therapy programme utilising the properties of water, designed by a suitably qualified physiotherapist specifically for an individual to improve function, carried out by appropriately trained personnel, ideally in a purpose built, and suitably heated hydrotherapy pool. (2005)"

At TCT, we offer:

  • 20 minute 1 to 1 sessions with a chartered physiotherapist.
  • 10% TCT discount on block bookings of six sessions or more.
  • Group sessions on demand for a maximum of 4 children per group.

All our physio's who work in the hydro pool are state registered chartered therapists who specialise in paediatrics. Our hydrotherapy service is open to self referrals and referrals from other health professionals.

Children Hydrotherapy at BournemouthWe have a large range of equipment suitable for ages ranging from 1-18 years and a range of abilities.

We make the sessions fun and individual to suit each child's needs and abilities.

We take into account how comfortable the child is in a pool environment and with water in general.

Before coming for an appointment we will ask you to fill in some forms and questionnaires just so we can be sure that hydro is the right treatment of choice and safe for your child.

Our chartered physiotherapists have extensive hydrotherapy experience and have worked in a large variety of hydro pools in London, Portsmouth, Southampton, Bournemouth and Poole.

Children Hydrotherapy at BournemouthWe belong to the ATACP the Aquatic Therapy Association Of Chartered Physiotherapists (formerly the HACP Hydrotherapy Association of Chartered Physiotherapists) and as with all other areas of our profession are constantly updating our skills by attending new courses and liaising with physios working in large paediatric departments within the NHS.
