Developmental Assessments

A two hour premium Developmental assessment with both a chartered physiotherapist and an occupational therapist plus additional assessments from each therapist. This also includes liaison with school, a full and detailed report and a detailed programme written specifically for your child. We can also include a speech and language assessment in this package (this can be done on the same day or at a different time)

A one hour GOLD developmental assessment which includes a standardized and observational assessment with a chartered physiotherapist, an occupational therapist or a speech and language therapist This also includes liaison with school, a report and a programme written specifically for your child.

A one hour observational assessment  at the clinic with one therapist. There is then the option of having a programme written for your child.

A one hour review appointment at the clinic with one or multiple therapists with an updated programme and report if required.

• 30 minute musculoskeletal clinic/home visit appointment (physio)

• 30 minute follow up clinic appointment (one therapist)

• 60 minute follow up clinic appointment (one therapist)         

• 60 minute assessment/follow up home/school visit + travel (40p per mile) 
  

 

Hydrotherapy Assessment

• 20 minute hydrotherapy session 1:1 with physio
• Block booking of 6 x 20 minute hydrotherapy sessions

These assessments will give an exact score for each child in comparison to their peers

Gross and Fine Motor Skills carried out by a Physiotherapist and an Occupational Therapist

• Movement ABC-2 suitable for 3yrs to 16 yrs

Carried out by an Occupational Therapist

• Beery VMI 6th edition (Developmental Test of Visual-Motor Integration) suitable for 2yrs to 18 yrs
• TVPS 3rd Edition ( Test of Visual Perceptual skills) suitable for 4yrs to 17 yrs 11months
• DASH (Detailed Assessment of Speed of Handwriting) suitable for 9yrs to16yrs 11 months
• DASH (Detailed Assessment of Speed of Handwriting) suitable for 17yrs plus
• Sensory Profile most appropriate for 5-10yrs however can be adjusted and used for 3-4 yrs as well.

Carried out by a Speech and Language therapist

• Renfrew Language Scales suitable for 3yrs to 8yrs
• BPVS III (British Picture Vocabulary Scale) suitable for 3yrs to 16yrs 11months
• CELF 4 (Clinical Evaluation of language fundamentals) suitable for 5yrs-16 yrs
