Physiotherapy is a health care profession concerned with human function, movement and maximising potential. It uses physical approaches to promote, maintain and
restore physical, psychological and social well-being, taking account of variations in the individual’s state of health.
The aim of physiotherapy is to reduce the symptoms of the injured site/problem area or to maximize physical function in long term conditions. Physiotherapists also play a role in education and injury prevention.
Under the care of a chartered physiotherapist, your problem will first be assessed and diagnosed and then your treatment will be carefully planned and monitored.
